Suggested Offering only $2 to encourage Prayer of Petition.

Telling someone struggling that we lit a votive candle for their intention can bring consolation and peace to them. Doing so can be a fruitful way to reach out and offer support during the pandemic. And, note that when we light a vigil candle, we are not alone. Other burning candles remind us of others' heartfelt intentions. We can include a prayer for them as well.

If you feel comfortable, please include your candle's intention in the Prayer Book next to the candles by the Madonna painting.
